Toy Story 4

I forgot it was Palkhi Day when I went to watch the movie and that was the true adventure. Was going to E-Square from Aundh and was detoured onto SB, then had to enter Model Colony, down to Firodiya Udyan. Then turned left onto University Road and had to go wrong side by the Petrol Pump to the Goel Ganga open space where parking is available. Then jump over the divider through traffic, cross the road. Uff. That is almost the first half of Toy Story.

Missed a bit of the movie, but one could feel that nothing significant generally happens in a fourth in a series, in the first half. Getting up to speed is quick by just following the plot line. It was '3D'. Yawn. Would not have realized at all.

My movie-mates were even more delayed as a surprise shower surprised them. They came by rick and had to walk all the way from City Mall to E-Square. Poor guys.

For some reason Woody and Bo reminded me of Jim and Pam.

The movie was fun overall, but not exciting. Certain characters like the Zebra, the two plushies and Bo were fun to watch. Good characterization. Keanu Reeves as a motorcycle toy was fun (after I got to know it was Keanu). There are a few laughs generated by Forky, but if this movie was about 'moving on', I strongly feel that the franchise should heed its own message.

It is time they stopped creating the same movie over and over again.
