Watched it belated, with mom and dad. On Amazon Fire TV Stick.

A really nice movie. Shows you the truth about 'democracy' in the India you have heard of but never seen. Shows you how Whatsapp forwards and Indian mainstream coverage about the people having ultimate power is a farce when you go to areas only coverable by foot through jungles.

Reminds me of a Sudha Murthy story where she approached a village which still believed that the 'Company' ruled them. Rajkumar Rao has done a good job of an enthu cutlet. Only I think the disillusionment happened too fast.

Pankaj Tripathi has done a very realistic portrayal of a pawn with power under certain conditions, balancing different aspects of reality, idealist ideologies forced upon him and basic survival.

A movie not to be missed, and to be remembered every Republic, Independence and Election Day.
